Just when I thought that people diagnosed with diabetes, in order to religiously follow a strict diabetic diet, are not allowed to savor sumptuous gourmet dishes, came a gourmet book dedicated solely to our diabetic gourmet lovers. It was released two years ago, and since the day it appeared on bookstores, I began hearing diabetic people delighted about the book's concern for them.
By encouraging diabetes patients to allow themselves eat healthier meals, the book also captured the attention of health experts. The book contains two hundred original recipes by the authors. Each recipe is guaranteed easy-to-prepare, nutritious, and equally delectable with those found in gourmet restaurants' menu. Among the exquisite cuisines are banana and cream pie, veal piccata, pot roast, potato skins, peanut butter flavored cookies, pecan waffles, macaroni with cheese, and so much more.
The book makes it possible for diabetic people to enjoy eating gourmet dishes to the fullest. Although some of the recipes require sugar and cream, we are guaranteed that they do not gravely affect diabetes diet. If you ask me, this book effectively explains to us that not all that is sweet is bad for diabetics. In fact, the recipes help us maintain a balanced diet because their main ingredients are derived from fish, poultry, fruits and vegetables.

Here is a book that will show you just how easy meal preparations could be without the hassle of cooking. It is authored by Miss Nomi Shannon and contains recipes with nothing but natural ingredients which are not only nutritious, but invigorate the body as well. She created the book to impart her knowledge about raw foods which she learned because of the many health problems she's been diagnosed of. I believe that this is a unique approach to gourmet cooking and I am sure many gourmet food lovers will fall in love with it.
The idea behind no-cook recipes is to invigorate the bodily systems. It as also safe to say that engaging in a raw foods diet helps in the gradual detoxification process. Although preparing no-cook foods sound a bit odd, the author said that it will let us spend lesser time in the kitchen. She offers recipes for soups juices, salads, entrees, desserts, and sauces.
The bottom line of Shannon's gourmet book is simplicity. The ingredients for her recipes are very easy to find and since there's no need for cooking appliances, the book requires nothing but refrigerator for storage of vegetables, nuts, and fruits. Also, alongside the recipes are healthful notes about the benefits we could get from them.

Why did not I thought of it from the very beginning? While I was rummaging book stores for gourmet books, it was only last week that the idea of baking cakes occurred to my mind. I have been busy about wine reviews and salad recipes that I overlooked cakes. So now, I finally have a good book that will teach how to bake using my Viking microwave oven. Actually, the recipes work with any other oven brands, so I recommend the book to everyone else.
By the way, the book is entitled Easy-Bake. From the name itself, the book is very easy to understand. It costs $16 dollars. Much to my surprise the recipes are not limited to cakes, I mean fruit-flavored cakes. I though I will only get to learn how to make chocolate cakes, pineapple upside down cakes, and all other usual recipes. But, the book even featured cakes, no not actually cakes, but baked seafood snacks. Yum, yum. Really, the dishes are mouth-watering. I feasted over endless combinations of seafood and cheese, bacon, veggies, mushrooms and sauces. The suggested presentations were superb. One thing I liked about this gourmet book is that the ingredients are very easy to find. Since the recipes require but ovens to make the delicious recipes, I even taught my nephews how to prepare the mushroom-shrimp pizza.

Come on, I know you know just what is the toughest part in preparing meals. It is not the cooking, rather, it is shopping. I seldom cook for my family because I do not have time allotted for shopping for the ingredients. Well, I am not a real good cook, but hand me the best gourmet book in town, and I will cook for you the most delectable dishes. Hey, I would not want to mess around, so I tried looking for the best book.
I have it now. I bought it for $20. The book is called Five Ingredients by Gourmet. Yeah, you got that right. The recipes, all 175 of them, featured in the book uses but five main ingredients, and are delightfully healthy foods. You do not believe me, do you? With five ingredients, I mean the five major, mostly used, easily found in the market, and nutritious ingredients. You might be wondering that the recipes are limited to using five ingredients only. The tag line of the book only means that the recipes are all easy to prepare for the reason that the common ingredients are used. Cook delicious foods minus the hassle of ransacking local stores for the unfamiliar herbs and vegetables. So, you see, the book is perfect for me. It has practical approaches, easy to follow suggestions on cooking meals, soups, and even preparing salads. I even learned how to bake chocolate chip cookies through it. I would really like to spend a day experimenting on those new cooking ideas.

This gourmet book is not fiction, nor from a blockbuster movie - it's the real thing. Albert Fish was a serial killer who lived in the 1900's. He victimized children, did unspeakable savagery to his victims, and cannibalized them as a finale, so this is how he managed to maintain a recipe book.
Albert H. Fish's gourmet book contains evidently unspeakable horrors not for those with weak cardiovascular systems. His journal contains real things which he did to real children, and thus his recipes reflects his twisted view of the world and life in general. He treated children as animals, and saw them as food to satisfy his unearthly cravings.
He drank his victims blood as if it were wine, roasted their behinds, and confessed to the authorities that it tasted like the best roasted turkey he has ever had in his life, and even complained to the cops that he never had chewable nuts from one of his victims. He was shockingly diagnosed by professional psychiatrists from mental institutions to only suffer from mild psychosis, and was sentenced to a life in a mental institution for the criminally insane without any chance of getting out. Oftentimes, truth remains stranger than fiction.

If you want to know the secrets of many successful restaurants and the recipes for those decadent desserts and heavenly dishes, wait no more. There is already a book available that compiles all the best of gourmet cuisines that any one person can find in the world today. Yes, I am talking about the book "The Best of Gourmet 2005".
There are actually many reasons why I recommend that you grab a copy at your favorite bookstores as soon as possible. First thing is, "The Best of Gourmet 2005" gathers more than three hundred gourmet recipes and fits them in a very lovely, visual package. I really have to hand it to the makers of this book because the graphics are so clear, visually-stimulating, and rich like the actual food featured in its pages. Of course, that is not to discount that the text and the menus themselves are detailed and would really inspire you to get your butt off the sofa and enjoy the kitchen area for a change. What is more exciting in "The Best of Gourmet 2005" is that it includes exceptional international cuisines that have been simplified so that you can savor the cultural taste right in your very own dining room.
