
Why did not I thought of it from the very beginning? While I was rummaging book stores for gourmet books, it was only last week that the idea of baking cakes occurred to my mind. I have been busy about wine reviews and salad recipes that I overlooked cakes. So now, I finally have a good book that will teach how to bake using my
Viking microwave oven. Actually, the recipes work with any other oven brands, so I recommend the book to everyone else.
By the way, the book is entitled Easy-Bake. From the name itself, the book is very easy to understand. It costs $16 dollars. Much to my surprise the recipes are not limited to cakes, I mean fruit-flavored cakes. I though I will only get to learn how to make chocolate cakes, pineapple upside down cakes, and all other usual recipes. But, the book even featured cakes, no not actually cakes, but baked
seafood snacks. Yum, yum. Really, the dishes are mouth-watering. I feasted over endless combinations of seafood and cheese, bacon, veggies, mushrooms and sauces. The suggested presentations were superb. One thing I liked about this
gourmet book is that the ingredients are very easy to find. Since the recipes require but ovens to make the delicious recipes, I even taught my nephews how to prepare the mushroom-shrimp pizza.
