Aztec and Mayan Concoction

Chocolate was unknown to the rest of the world before it was introduced by the Mayans and Aztecs to Europeans. Chocolate was then consumed only in beverage form. Chocolate is derived form cacao beans and the word chocolate is thought to have been originated from the Mayan word xocoatl, referring to the beverage.

Today, chocolate comes in different forms. Chocolate may be fashioned into candy bars. Chocolate may be included as ice cream flavoring. Another popular chocolate use is in baking chocolate chips cookies. There are many online recipes available for chocolates.
